That’s a good question and I have in fact a couple of reasons for it. ![]() Now, you might wonder why I write in English when this book is not translated in English. Therefore I have decided to analyse this book chapter by chapter (Not like I have a clue what to do, but I’ll just roll with it.) to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Hasse Simonsdochter this year. There is a problem though, I have no inspiration for fanfiction and I’m not a good enough artist to make fanart. ![]() (This might be because it is a Dutch book and not translated in English (I do believe that it is translated in German though)) Since this book has an overwhelming shortage of fandom I’ve decided to do it myself. (Something that has saved my live when I needed to read Dutch literature for school) It has in fact fueled my love for historical fiction. I’ve been a fan of the book Hasse Simonsdochter by Thea Beckman ever since I first read it when I was 10 years old. ![]()
